Max Mosley, president of the FIA wants electric hybrids forbidden for workers in the mechanics

The season, the 2009th Formula One teams use May to the recovery of kinetic energy (employees) to improve. In the 2008 season, most teams began the examination of multiple systems with varying degrees of success. Many of these hybrid systems was difficult, and even less to grow. The Association of Racing Teams (FOTA) met in London this week, new measures to reduce costs after leaving Honda sport.

FIA president Max Mosely decided to weigh their own thoughts on the issue in a letter to the members of FOTA. Among the people was his view to the implementation of the workers. Mosely has the feeling that the electrical systems that are in principle similar to that on the street while hybrids should be banned in F1 from the purely mechanical. Mosely believes the technology of batteries available, especially lithium-ion, not for the F1 race. Mosely does not explain why he believes this is exactly the case. On the other hand said that he prefers the development of mechanical, electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems. If nothing works, or teams, as a symbol of Ferrari and BMW, from the expansion of hybrid battery of workers is not clear at this point.
