GM / UAW negotiations concession

To the long-term sustainability, General Motors has an arm and a leg (and perhaps an eye), to meet the requirements of the federal government after the car maker has billions of loans by the taxpayers. In addition to reducing debt and condensation, the number and type of vehicles, GM has once again to work - is no easy task. In this context, the course of the GM talks and negotiations this week with the United Auto Workers, obligations, dealers and others to help vehicle manufacturers in a style simple and profitable.

There is an enormous challenge, but GM is in serious financial difficulties to do with concessions to carry out his plans for the restructuring. These include the deletion of up to 31,000 jobs, the closing of nine assembly plants, the closure of the dealers in 1750, and, where appropriate, to eliminate Saturn brand. Of course, you also have a renegotiation of the 2007 UAW contract with GM. The UAW has wages and benefits, but without the obligation to GM could be forced to file for bankruptcy ... something that no player would like.
