Bush Rejects known to the highest fuel economy standards
Energy efficiency. This question has apparently dropped to the back burner in America for a variety of reasons, including the reduction in gasoline prices and the economy as well as the automotive industry, the difficult financial situation. But some say that the issue of reducing the use of oil is less important today than it was six months ago, so the decision (or, in fact, the lack thereof) of the Bush administration to leave for the future of the fuel to the table for the President-elect Barack Obama and his personal future is ruffling some feathers.
Also, the car manufacturers want to see a new set of rules to ensure that the future plan exactly.
