BMW fourth set to line 1-diesel 53.5 mpg 116D

Recently, BMW will add a fourth, more efficient diesel variant 1 online series in Europe. The new 116D, the 118D, 120D and 123d. The 116D with the same 2.0L engine with four cylinders more than brothers, but only produces 116 HP and 192 lb-ft torque. This means that this car is not demon 0-60 speed of 6.7 seconds, the 123d, but rises to 60 mi / h in 10.2 seconds very useful. Even more important is that the combination is kilométrage 53.5 mpg (U.S.) and the decrease in CO2 emissions of just 118 g / km, 120 g / km below the magic mark. The 116D is the fuel-saving cars BMW, Britain and the pilots to pay £ 35 in the ACT with one of them. The 116D is available in 3 - and 5-door with the tailgate and the forms will be in March. As the less powerful MINI Cooper D a real 47 mpg in the garage and the 123d ABG has 37 mpg, 45-50 mpg is very plausible for the 116D.
